The Science Fair event started late Friday afternoon with a great buzz before even the press event for it had started.
The science Fair is a mix of Mozilla projects that exemplifies and puts together the essence of Mozilla. Concretely the guests are also recruiting for the hack fest that is going on during the weekend.
The fair proved to be a successful turn out with a large crowd standing elbow-to-elbow talking to organizations such as P2PU and Popcorn about what they do. The organizations were giving out freebees such as t-shirts and Stress ‘Popcorn’ shaped balls for everyone to enjoy, as well as refreshments such as wine and a little food spread. The atmosphere was incredibly lively as people used the opportunity to network with others and socialize, as being social is a major part in the festival.
Overall the Science Fair created a great buzz and end to the first day of the Mozilla Festival.
